With Hamilton Relay you can conveniently receive calls from anyone with just one local phone number, your Hamilton HomeTown Number. Sign up today for your Hamilton HomeTown Number, and you'll get your own local 10-digit number for use with Hamilton Internet Relay. You will get a different number for each service for which you register — Text at home, Text at work, and/or Mobile Text. You can share your number(s) with anyone from which you wish to receive calls.
Get started now. Click on Register on the right and complete the form. You can establish your preferences for Internet Relay with Home, Business, as well as Mobile options. Each category has unique settings to fit your preferences — including a speed dial list for each location!
When you set up your preferences for any of the Internet Relay locations, you will receive your Hamilton HomeTown Number — a local 10-digit number that hearing people will use to call you directly. You can set up a number for one, two or all locations. For each service you choose, you will get a Hamilton HomeTown Number.
After you have completed the form, we will send you an email to verify your email address. Once your email is verified, we will process your request for your Hamilton HomeTown Number. Once a number is selected for you, we will send you another email with your new number(s).
When a hearing person dials your number, they will be connected with a Communication Assistant who will attempt to connect to you with your selected location and/or device or program. You can respond immediately, and begin your conversation. If you are not able to accept the call, or if you do not respond, the caller will be given the option to leave a message. How simple is that!? Your life will be so much easier, especially without having to explain how to call relay, and then provide a second telephone number.
