How Web Relay works
Place a Call
Simply click on "Make a Call" to make calls from your computer. Once you click on "Make a Call" you will be prompted to login with your login ID and password. If you haven't registered for your Hamilton HomeTown Number, no worries! Log in as a Guest and make a quick call! Be sure to come back and register to enjoy the benefits of saving your preferences, accessing a speed dial listing and receiving calls!
Upon placing your calls while logged in with your login ID and password, the Communication Assistant (CA) will access your profile information upon connection. It'll make your life a whole lot easier!
Customize Hamilton Web Relay for a more personal calling experience. Features include color changes for the background and font, selecting your font size and font type, choosing Real Time or IM styles for sending your messages to the CA, as well as language preferences.
When using the Real Time style, you will need to use "GA" and "SK" to take turns in your conversation. When using the IM style, you can send messages when you are ready for the CA to read it out loud to the person you are calling. Spanish-to-Spanish is also available with Hamilton Web Relay.
When you're inspired, just click on "Make a Call" to start calling.

Receive a call
You can receive a call through Hamilton Web Relay once you've registered for your Hamilton HomeTown Number. Simply log in with your User ID and leave the window available on your computer. Once someone dials your number, the Internet Browser will flash at the desktop bar. Open up the browser, and you'll be prompted with the number of the person who's calling, along with an option to answer or decline the call. If you choose to answer the call, you're connected!
If you choose not to answer the call, you can move on with whatever you were doing. We'll send you an email notifying you of who just called, and their message if they choose to leave one!
